e-Governance Initiatives


The department has successfully implemented the SPARK application to manage the Employee Payroll and Administrative activities of the department.

For fast and accurate information dissemination department has started a website in popular content management framework.  The website is available in the address www.printing.kerala.gov.in. This site is being updated daily with tender notices, office orders and other useful information.

Printing Department successfully implemented e-Procurement in the department. Presently all the procurement activities of Department is accomplished through the help of e-Tendering system.  For more details please visit https://etenders.kerala.gov.in.


COMPOSE is a Web enabled database solution for the designated users of Printing Department, Government Presses, District Forms Stores (DFS), Printing Clients including citizen etc. The COMPOSE application will basically serve the front-end requirements such as submission of Printing Requests, work-flow processing of the request, publication of eGazette, centralised status monitoring, querying and report generation. Complete migration of the office procedures to COMPOSE is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.

Department has also started the implementation of the e-Office software, an e-Governance initiative for managing and processing all government documents and files in electronic mode. Complete migration of the office procedures to e-Office is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.
